You’re an enthusiastic, detail-oriented communicator with creative ideas and the ability to execute on them across internal channels. You have experience with (or interest in learning about) generative AI tools that can enhance your work. You’re passionate about telling stories that resonate with internal audiences, and are ready to learn, grow, and thrive in an inclusive, flexible, and collaborative environment.

What will your typical day look like?

Due to the nature of the role having interactions with National & Global clients, bilingualism in French and English is required for this position - Quebec based only

In this role as Senior Specialist, Executive Communications, you will support CEO and Operating Officer communications for Deloitte Canada. Working closely alongside the Managers of these portfolios, you will assist in the development of communications that support key initiatives, projects, strategies, and events that align to Deloitte’s goals and objectives. Your expertise will be instrumental in writing and editing effective and inspiring messages, and managing delivery within our internal communications channels.

This includes:

  • Supporting the creation of high-impact internal communications plans across channels and audiences.
  • Developing impactful content—including intranet articles, emails, internal social media, newsletters, presentations, speeches, and video scripts—designed around storytelling principles to drive meaningful engagement.
  • Steering communications through the full cycle of research, writing, editing, approvals, translation, and distribution.
  • Supporting the delivery of key events that are virtual, hybrid, or in-person.
  • Leveraging firm-approved generative AI tools to generate ideas and create content.

About the team

Jump in and propel your career as a member of the Executive Communications team, an energetic and collaborative team that helps the firm’s leaders elevate communications for Deloitte Canada. Our work includes developing innovative approaches to content and distribution, simplifying messages for increased engagement and value, and bringing creativity to our communications across internal channels.

We are trusted advisors and business partners who play a critical role in helping Deloitte Canada achieve its purpose and make an impact that matters.

Enough about us, let’s talk about you

We want to work with enthusiastic, creative, and committed individuals who are passionate about internal storytelling. Core competencies and attributes to be successful in this role include:

  • A bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, journalism, public relations, or a related field
  • 3-5 years of communications experience (understanding of large corporate settings or professional services organizations is an asset)
  • Exceptional writing, storytelling, and editing skills
  • The ability to gather relevant information and transform it into clear, concise, and engaging content
  • A meticulous eye for detail, excellent time management and organizational skills, and strong judgment

Total Rewards

The salary range for this position is $58,000 - $96,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program. Deloitte is fair and competitive when it comes to the salaries of our people. We regularly benchmark across a variety of positions, industries, sectors, targets, and levels. Our approach is grounded on recognizing people's unique strengths and contributions and rewarding the value that they deliver.

Our Total Rewards Package extends well beyond traditional compensation and benefit programs and is designed to recognize employee contributions, encourage personal wellness, and support firm growth. Along with a competitive base salary and variable pay opportunities, we offer a wide array of initiatives that differentiate us as a people-first organization. Some representative examples include: $4,000 per year for mental health support benefits, a $1,300 flexible benefit spending account, 38+ days off (including 10 firm-wide closures known as "Deloitte Days"), flexible work arrangements and a hybrid work structure.

Our shared values

While our Purpose guides us and helps explain why we exist, our shared values describe the behaviour we expect from each other at the firm.

They provide common ground to unite us across cultures and geographies. They help us to earn the trust and respect of our stakeholders. We all commit to living by these shared values, to stay true to the principles they represent, and to honour the legacy from which they came. They are what sets us apart and makes us Deloitte.

Every day, we live our Purpose through the following five shared values:

  • Lead the way: Deloitte is not only leading the profession, but reinventing it for the future. We’re also committed to creating opportunity and leading the way to a more sustainable world.
  • Serve with integrity: Deloitte has earned the trust of employees, clients, regulators, and the public for 175 years. Upholding that trust is our single most important responsibility.
  • Take care of each other: We look out for one another and prioritize respect, fairness, development, and well-being.
  • Foster inclusion: We are at our best when we foster an inclusive culture and embrace diversity in all forms. We know this attracts top talent, enables innovation, and helps us deliver well-rounded client solutions.
  • Collaborate for measurable impact: We approach our work with a collaborative mind¬set, teaming across businesses, geographies, and skill sets to deliver tangible, measurable, attributable impact.
