Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team in a chemical manufacturing plant. The role involves moving products safely throughout the facility, focusing on safety and precision rather than speed. Candidates should be prepared to assist with the production line, supporting the team in an 80/20 Forklift Operator role.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts to move products on a skid safely throughout the facility.
• Assist and work on the production line to support team efforts.
• Demonstrate safe workplace actions while operating a forklift.
• Pay attention to surroundings and maneuver in tight spaces.

Essential Skills

• 6+ months of manufacturing experience.
• 6+ months of Crown (Standing) Forklift Production experience.
• Proficiency in forklift operation and material handling.
• Ability to work both independently and as a team member.

Shift

Employees work on a straight day shift from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm. There is also an opportunity for voluntary overtime.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of London, ON.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in London,ON.
