DUTIES
Memorial University maintains a Candidate List of individuals who are interested in short-term contractual or temporary positions, as they become available. These various positions include : clerical, secretarial, administrative, accounting, and student support.
Duties may include providing general office reception for a unit : preparing letters, other correspondence, and reports; sorting and distributing mail; replying to enquiries via email, in person, or phone from faculty, staff, and students; arranging meetings and room bookings; making travel arrangements; and performing other related duties as required.
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum experience (1-3 years) in clerical, secretarial, or administrative program activities; completion of a two-year office or business administration program; or any equivalent combination of experience and training. Strong organizational skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multi-task would be considered assets.
Qualified individuals for these positions will be required to meet the specific requirements for the positions involved and will be evaluated on academic training, experience, and demonstrated skills and abilities.
Willingness to work for short periods of employment is required.
