We are a family in Mississauga, Ontario, seeking a compassionate and dedicated elder care. This is a part-time, live-out position that focuses on providing both companionship and personal care for our elderly family member. As a companion, your role will involve mostly engaging in conversations and spending a few hours a day with our grandmother, ensuring she has company. Primarily this role is to ensure our loved one with dementia is fed and in decent health on the day to day as she would like to remain living alone in her home. In addition to companionship, personal care tasks will also be part of your responsibilities. This may include assistance with daily activities, such as ensuring prescriptions are being taken, light housekeeping and daily meal preparation. We offer a negotiable wage upwards of $20 per hour.
