  • Deliver warm, confident, and engaging customer service that reflects Farm Boy’s commitment to the best fresh shopping experience.
  • Welcome, greet, and assist customers using Farm Boy Service Standards while sharing your knowledge and enthusiasm for our products.
  • Provide day-to-day team supervision and floor support by delegating tasks, coordinating breaks, receiving and storing orders, completing 2x2s, and ensuring full readiness for business.
  • Prepare and cook fresh offerings for our hot and cold bar, grill station, and service cases, ensuring quality, presentation, and consistency.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive team culture through hands-on coaching, training, and mentoring focused on floor operations, department standards, and readiness for business.
  • Promote company policies and effectively communicate updated business objectives as shared by the store leadership team.
  • Maintain clean, safe, and organized work and storage areas through general housekeeping duties, including sweeping, mopping, and dishwashing.
  • Follow all corporate policies and procedures with particular focus on Health & Safety, Food Safety, HACCP compliance, and proper equipment use.
  • Support the team with additional duties on a periodic basis.

Qualifications

  • A genuine passion for delivering engaging and exceptional customer service.
  • Completion of a post-secondary program with an emphasis in culinary arts, plus a minimum of 1 year of progressively responsible experience in a similar role (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • The ability to work independently while taking pride in exceptional quality, attention to detail, and strong cleanliness standards.
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, with a strong interest in team engagement, coaching, and development.
  • A collaborative leadership style supported by clear and effective communication skills.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on setting that involves multiple deadlines, extended periods of standing, heavy lifting, and work that may be performed in cooler, freezer, and outdoor conditions.
  • Flexibility to work a dynamic schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Fluency in English; French language skills considered an asset.
