Warehouse Forklift Operator

Dessert Holdings is currently seeking a Warehouse Forklift Operator to become a part of our dynamic team at our London, Ontario facility. This individual will work in the warehouse, performing shipping, receiving and inventory related duties.

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Staging /set up of packaging materials in respective packaging departments
• Picking and storing of raw materials
• Preparation of next day's receiving tickets
• Receiving of raw materials
• Locating products in the warehouse; use of forklift required
• Order selection and loading of trailers
• Housekeeping of the receiving and shipping areas
• Inventory cycle counts
• Working with power equipment, hi-reach forklifts and walkies
• Adherence to procedures, safety practices and policy

Position Requirements:

• MUST be able to drive a Crown Reach Standup Reach Truck & Dock Stackers.
• Must have a valid forklift license
• Must be comfortable working in freezer and coolers.
• Scheduling flexibility
• Ability to work independently, well organized, effective judgment
• Proficient with computer applications and comfortable learning new systems
• Focused on detail, accuracy and a strong mathematical aptitude
• Cooperative and works well with others, strong communicator.

Shift:

• B-shift: Wednesday to Saturday 2:30 PM to 1:00 AM
• B-shift: Flexible (4 days a week) 2:30 PM to 1:00 AM
• C-shift: Flexible (5 days a week) 11:30 PM - 8:00 AM?

Pay Rate: $24.79 per hour (probationary), $27.55 per hour (full rate)
