Boiler and MUA Technician – $48.00 per hour Benefits – West St Paul, Manitoba

Key Responsibilities:

The key responsibilities of a Boiler and MUA Technician include, but are not limited to:

• Maintaining and adjusting boiler systems.
• Keeping service and repair logs, communicating with customers organizations, and performing preventative checks on equipment
• Update all systems and databases with careful attention to detail.
• Keep all equipment and work areas clean and free of debris.
• Ensure the safety, quality, and efficiencies of the installation crew.
• Document all work performed and recommended on the repair order.
• Perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures.
• Assist in warehousing and facility related tasks when necessary.

Since 1979, the same family has owned and operated Frontier Refrigeration and Mechanical Services Ltd, a reputable design, build, service, and installation company that has been providing services to the Manitoba and Southwestern Ontario markets.

We service, install and maintain Refrigeration, Geothermal, Gas Heating, MUA, Boilers, RTU’s and Mechanical Systems through-out Manitoba and Southwestern Ontario.

• Able to negotiate a yearly salary up to $115,000 per year based on experience and work ethic.

The Person

The key skills and qualities of a Boiler and MUA Technician are:

• Plumber/gas fitting journeyman/red seal certification.
• Extensive service background including gas fired hot water and steam boilers.
• Gas, Hydronic and Process Piping experience.
• HVAC, Refrigeration service background preferred, however we offer cross training to HVAC Red Seal Certification.
• A ticket preferred, minimum B ticket with recorded hours under a registered A ticket Plumber/ Gas Fitter.
• Proven service, maintenance and installation experience.
• Excellent communication skills.
