Reporting to the Logistics Manager at our Niagara Falls location, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing inventory levels, analyzing trends, and developing plans to optimize stock and minimize waste.
Additionally, they will be responsible for providing accurate and timely financial analysis to support decision making for the company.

Our hours of operation are 8:15am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday.
Key Responsibilities: Inventory Management Utilize historical data, market trends, and sales projections to forecast inventory levels accurately Monitor inventory turnover rates and adjust forecasts accordingly to optimize inventory levels Process vendor invoices in a timely manner and ensure payments are made according to terms and agreements Compile data from multiple sources and utilize advanced Excel functions to analyze inventory data, generate reports, and identify trends or anomalies Ensure accurate and up-to-date data entry in the ERP system to facilitate efficient inventory tracking and reporting Collaborate with the Warehouse team to coordinate flow of goods Develop and maintain positive relationships with vendors to facilitate smooth communication and transactions Resolve discrepancies between physical and inventory and records and investigate and resolve issues with damaged or missing inventory Recommend changes to current inventory policies and procedures Financial & Sales Analysis Conduct analysis of product viability to identify trends, recommend solutions, and support decision-making Develop and present financial plans, forecasts, and reports to senior management using Excel spreadsheets Analyze gross margins by division, category, and item and compare to what has been forecasted Conduct research and monitor real time trends on economic indicators such as fluctuation on foreign exchange rates and market trends Identify opportunities to reduce costs by recommending process improvements Other Prepare and present insightful reports on inventory performance, margin analysis, and other key metrics to support decision-making Undertake related duties as assigned to achieve the company objectives and goals Qualifications: College diploma or university degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, or a related field Three (3) years of inventory management and forecasting experience Two (2) years of financial analysis experience Experience extracting data from an ERP system Experience working with freight forwarders considered an asset Proficiency using Microsoft Office Advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge (XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, IF Statements, Macros) Experience managing a large volume of data in Excel Analytical and highly motivated self-starter Detail oriented problem solver Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast-paced ever-changing environment You Will Stand Out If: You have experience using NetSuite You have experience using Power BI What We Offer Our expected compensation range for this role is $60,000 - $70,000 annually.
The salary you may receive will be determined based on the skills, experience, and qualifications you bring to the position, as well as how they align with the responsibilities and scope of the Inventory Analyst role.
