Randstad has partnered with a leading organization in the manufacturing industry, looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Accountant to join their team, located in Concord.

Title: Accounts Payable Specialist
Location: Concord, ON (Fully onsite)
Rate of Pay: $28.00-$32.00/hour
Job Type: 3-month contract with the opportunity to go permanent

Responsibilities
• Execute the complete AP and payment cycle by processing invoices to ensue accurate matching of purchase orders and validation of account codes.
• Conduct daily bank and credit card reconciliations while preparing comprehensive daily cash reports.
• Coordinate bi-weekly payment runs, including the generation of cheques, wire transfers, EFTs, and ACH payments.
• Manage and reconcile employee expense reports, travel advances, and corporate credit card transactions.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes through journal entry preparation, cost allocation, and reconciling accounts to the General Ledger.

Qualifications
• 3+ years of Accounts Payable experience
• Strong analytical skills to verify the accuracy, validity, and completeness of invoices and resolve discrepancies with vendors.
• Demonstrated ability to meet strict deadlines for financial reporting and month-end closing procedures.
• Experience using EPICOR an asset.
