Why Work Here?
Employees enjoy a work-hard, play-hard culture with top industry wages, generous benefits, and a strong focus on employee recognition and development. The company offers a signing bonus, pay that exceeds typical industry rates, and fully paid extended benefits premiums. Team members participate in company events such as golf tournaments, soccer teams, holiday celebrations, lake days, and have access to premium sports tickets. The organization supports long-term financial security through generous retirement savings contributions for journeypersons and apprentices and milestone awards that recognize dedication and performance. Lead employees receive company vehicles and laptops, and HVAC service technicians benefit from a four-day work week and modified self-scheduling. Additional perks include uniforms and PPE provided at no cost, a boot allowance, maternity and paternity pay top-up, renewed fleet vehicles every five years, and tuition reimbursement for continuing education relevant to the field.
Work Environment
The role is based in existing commercial buildings and infrastructure, working around business tenants in occupied spaces, so technicians must be presentable and professional at all times. All work is commercial in nature, with no residential assignments. The typical shift starts at 7:00 or 7:30 AM and runs for an eight-hour day, with overtime as required to meet project and service demands. Because much of the work involves tenant improvements, there may be days where tasks that generate significant noise are scheduled outside regular business hours, often after 4:00 or 5:00 PM, to minimize disruption. The culture emphasizes working hard and celebrating success, supported by company-provided uniforms (pants, shirts, jackets, sweatshirts) and PPE, access to a renewed fleet of vehicles, and a professional, safety-focused environment in commercial and institutional buildings.
