YOUR ROLE AS THE PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR:
As a Production Supervisor, reporting to the Production Manager, you will manage and lead a production team of approximately 50 people. You will be the on-the-floor leader responsible for daily operations, ensuring short-term goals in productivity, quality, and health and safety are met while strictly adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and established standards. At the heart of this Production Supervisor role is coaching your team, fostering a safe environment, and championing a culture of continuous improvement.

ResponsibilitiesWhat You'll Be Doing as a Production Supervisor:
•Plan and coordinate daily activities according to the production schedule, operational priorities, and available resources.
•As the Production Supervisor, track key performance indicators, including speed, direct labor, rejects, and yields, to analyze gaps and implement corrective actions.
•Ensure daily compliance with plant policies, health and safety regulations, and Good Manufacturing Practices across all operations.
•Collaborate closely with quality, engineering, maintenance, and logistics teams to keep operations fluid and minimize line stoppages.
•Coach team members, evaluate their performance during probation and annually, and ensure they receive the necessary training to succeed.
•Investigate any health and safety incidents and deploy proactive, preventive measures to maintain a secure working environment.
•Participate actively in the recruitment process and ensure the effective onboarding and integration of new production employees.
QualificationsWhat We're Looking For In Our Next Production Supervisor
Required:
•A DEC or BAC in mechanical, industrial, or chemical engineering, or equivalent education.
•A minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience within a manufacturing environment.
•Essential bilingualism, requiring fluency in both spoken and written French and English.
•Strong leadership, adaptability, and complex problem-solving skills to make quick, effective decisions.
Nice to Have:
•Previous experience in food, cosmetics, or pharmaceutical manufacturing.
•Knowledge of ERP systems, specifically AS400 and SAP.
•Prior knowledge and application of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
