Permanent Project Manager required for a large manufacturing company in the Fraser Valley. Reporting into the General Manager, the Project Manager will work closely with the Project Sponsor and stakeholders to complete project charter outlining scope, goals, deliverables, required resources, budget and schedule; Identify and manage project risk and generate a risk management plan; Create and maintain a detailed project schedule and identify when each task will be performed ; Interact with engineering, production planning, supply chain and manufacturing on project deliverables; Track and report on project performance, providing real time, comprehensive reports and report to Project Sponsor.

Job Requirements:

The successful candidate will have 5 plus years in a Project Management capacity within manufacturing; Engineering degree or diploma in a technical field of study (e.g. Electrical or Mechanical Engineering); Certificate or Degree in project management preferred; PMI, PMP or equivalent designation is an asset; Strong understanding of Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) and PMI methodology; Strong communication and problem resolution skills; a track record of successfully completed projects in the manufacturing industry; Effective time management and organizational skills; Detail orientated with ability to multi-task and meet deadlines; Excellent internal and external customer service skills with the ability to establish and maintain effective relationships. Proficient with use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, MS Project or other project management tools.
