This clinic-based position at Kamloops Mental Health & Substance Use Services Centre focuses on longitudinal primary care and coordinated, culturally safe care tailored to the needs of this population.

In this role, the NP will serve as a Most Responsible Provider (MRP) for an attached patient panel, providing full-scope assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing management of health conditions. Together, the team provides coordinated, person-centred care for individuals with a wide range of health needs, including chronic disease management, mental health and substance use support, care for medically complex conditions, and palliative care.

The Kamloops MHSU NP will work in close collaboration with a variety of MHSU programs and teams, including mental health and substance use counselling and care coordination services, to support attached clients. Care delivery may include in-clinic visits and targeted outreach to meet patient needs across settings, including community environments.
