Responsibilities
As our In-Land Delivery Coordinator you’ll be the critical first mate ensuring our shipments arrive safe and sound. Think of yourself as the gatekeeper of smooth operations! 🗃️📑

- Facilitate cargo release processes, including customs clearance and inspection notifications.
- Produce accurate documentation, delivery instructions, and execute work orders promptly.
- Coordinate cost-effective cargo movements, ensuring timely deliveries.
- Create work orders for import/export cargo within 24 hours of announcement.
- Trace cargo to its destination and ensure prompt delivery.
- Prepare cargo release documentation and support customers with accurate information.
- Ensure compliance with laws regarding Hazmat, Heavy/Overweight, and Out-of-Gauge cargo.
- Verify invoices and work orders, making necessary corrections.
- Evaluate carrier performance and manage transport exceptions.

Qualifications

- Based in or around Montreal
- Experience with over the road shipments is required, preferably from a Freight Forwarder, 3PL, Trucking or Shipping line experience
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to multi-task time sensitive issues
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Well organized, ability to handle stress & meet tight deadlines
