JOB SYNOPSIS:
To ensure the dish pit area is efficiently running. Cleanliness is of the utmost importance, you must maintain proper cleaning of dishes, drying and putting away in the designated areas. Checking that the dishwasher is clean, topped up on chemicals and running smoothly. Also assisting in food preparation when needed, adhering to all food safety standards.
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Recycling
- Sort recycling pails
- Organize and neatly stack flats in recycling room
- Rinse out recycling pails
- Break down cardboard and stack in recycling room
- Dishwashing
- Restocking as per Head Chef, Sous Chef, Bartender requests,
- Assisting in food preparation when needed.
- Food safe practice.
- Provide good guest relations.
- Implementation of all risk management procedures as per Whitewater.
- Following Whitewater Ski Resorts employee and resort policies and procedures.
- Promote Whitewater’s safety culture by reviewing and amending where necessary but not limited to: Department Manuals, CDPP, Employee Handbook
- Maintain current knowledge of legal standards pertaining to equipment, safety regulations, and OHS practices.
- Perform other related duties, tasks and responsibilities as required from time to time.
