Adecco is currently hiring a full-time
Assembly Technician for our client in Scarborough, Ontario. This is an excellent opportunity to join an innovative organization that designs and manufactures advanced geophysical equipment used by scientists and exploration companies around the world.
In this role, you will work in a collaborative and informal team environment alongside experienced assembly technicians and engineers. You will be responsible for assembling and testing a variety of electronic systems and components, ensuring the highest standards of quality and performance.
- Pay Rate: $ 25.00/hour
- Location: Scarborough, ON
- Shifts: 8:00am - 5:00pm

Responsibilities: - Assemble geophysical systems, including sensors, data loggers, and related equipment
- Perform through-hole and SMT soldering to support product assembly
- Conduct electronics testing and troubleshooting as required
- Follow technical documentation, assembly instructions, and quality standards
- Use hand tools and assembly equipment safely and effectively
- Maintain accurate records and complete assigned tasks efficiently
- Adhere to all workplace safety policies and procedures
- Work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- Take ownership of work quality and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications and Skills: - Previous experience in an electronics assembly or manufacturing environment
- Mandatory soldering experience, including both through-hole and Surface Mount Technology (SMT) soldering
- Experience with electronics assembly and testing
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work with hand tools
- Ability to read and follow written procedures and technical documentation
- Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn new processes and technologies
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Mu st be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
