Responsibilities:
• Review grant awards and sponsored funding arrangements to confirm allowable spending, funding conditions, and reporting expectations.
• Develop, maintain, and monitor budgets for departments, research programs, and clinical initiatives to support effective financial management.
• Track restricted funding, research allocations, and other designated accounts to ensure spending aligns with approved purposes.
• Examine cost patterns across laboratories, hospital services, and clinical operations to identify variances and improve financial performance.
• Prepare clear financial reports, forecasts, and summaries for leadership teams, faculty members, and principal investigators.
• Analyze revenue and expense trends to highlight risks, support planning activities, and recommend opportunities for cost control.
• Support compliance with healthcare, research, and grant-related financial requirements through accurate documentation and monitoring.
• Contribute financial insight to the assessment of equipment purchases, capital needs, and new research or program investments.
