Coldwater SchoolJob PostingElementary TeacherThe Coldwater School is inviting qualified applicants to apply for the position of Elementary (5-7) Teacher.QualificationsBachelor's degree or higher qualification in educationValid BC teaching certificate requiredExperience integrating technology into class lessonsExperience with First Nation schools is an assetExperience in developing and implementing IEPsExcellent communication, leadership and interpersonal skillsKnowledge of the BC curriculum and experience with Jump Math, Readwell, and Reading Mastery are an assetWilling to continue to gain new knowledge and skills, be flexible, positive and a team playerFirst Aid Certificate or willing to obtainCriminal Record Check Preference will be given to those applicants who: have knowledge of Nle?kepmx language and Coldwater Communityhave classroom teaching experiencehave experience at the Elementary levelshave experience with formative assessment practices is an assethave additional professional experience and/or post-secondary courses in early years education, early learning and early literacyhave Aboriginal ancestry (as per Special Program with the BC Human Rights Tribunal) Wages:Hourly Wage Range of $21.98 - $ 44.00. Including wage enhancement.
