Principal and Vice-PrincipalRecruitment and SelectionAvon Maitland District School Board (AMDSB) provides first class education to students and families throughout Huron and Perth Counties. The Avon Maitland District School Board is seeking qualified applicants for the positions of Principal and Vice Principal in our elementary and secondary schools.The Board is seeking qualified and experienced educators to join the Principal and Vice Vice-Principal pool. Candidates who have demonstrated strong leadership in previous positions and who meet the qualification requirements below are invited to apply.Interviews for elementary and secondary Principal and Vice-Principal pool positions will be held throughout the year, please follow the instructions below to apply. Qualifications - PrincipalCandidates making an application for a position of Principal will have:Ontario School Principal's Certificate Parts 1 and 2 (which requires a Master's Degree or double specialist) completed at time of application;Recommendation from his/her immediate supervisor;Demonstration of successful educational leadership experience;Superior administrative and organizational skills; and,Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
