Job description

At International SOS, we are in the business of protecting and saving lives. For 40 years, we have delivered customised security risk management, health, and wellbeing solutions to organisations worldwide. With a presence in 90 countries and a team of nearly 13,000 experts, we provide 24/7 support to help organisations fulfil their Duty of Care responsibilities.

Now, we’re looking for talented individuals to join our team and make a difference.

The Package

Imagine a schedule that gives you true work-life balance: choose from fly-in/fly-out rotations of 2 weeks on/2 weeks off or 3 weeks on/3 weeks off. That means you’ll work only half the year—while earning a full year’s pay.

Leave the stress behind—we’ve got your essentials covered. From comfortable accommodations to delicious meals, everything is taken care of while you’re on-site with us.

And because flexibility matters, we offer travel perks: whether it’s reimbursement, allowances, or free charter flights, you can live anywhere in Canada and still work in the province of your choice. This isn’t just a job—it’s a lifestyle designed around freedom, balance, and opportunity.

What's in It for You?

  • Comprehensive Benefits: Health, vision, and dental coverage, plus emergency travel assistance, virtual care, life insurance, long-term disability, and an employee assistance program.
  • Retention Bonus: Your commitment pays off—literally.
  • All Gear Provided: Uniforms and PPE supplied for client sites, so you’re ready from day one.
  • Grow Your Career: Access to continuing education and professional development opportunities.
  • Earn More Through Referrals: Bring great people on board and get rewarded.

Your Mission

As a Registered Nurse, you will deliver exceptional nursing care in a remote worksite environment while supporting health and wellness programs. Responsibilities include patient assessment and treatment, maintaining clinical standards, managing medical records, and ensuring infection control. You’ll also participate in emergency preparedness, ongoing training, and quality improvement initiatives. This role requires strong clinical skills, adaptability, and a commitment to patient-centered care.

How You'll Contribute

As a Registered Nurse, you'll be joining a team where your skills truly matter—providing exceptional care, supporting health and wellness, and being prepared for anything. This role offers variety, responsibility, and the chance to make a real difference every day:

  • Deliver high-quality nursing care and uphold standards set by the Nurse Practitioner/Medical Director
  • Follow International SOS and Canadian Industrial Paramedics procedures to ensure safe, effective care
  • Provide professional, patient-focused service in every interaction
  • Maintain and enhance your clinical skills through annual assessments and ongoing education
  • Understand and address occupational health needs for the client workforce

  • Be ready for emergencies through active participation in training and preparedness programs
  • Support internal training initiatives by preparing and presenting sessions
  • Monitor and maintain medical equipment, supplies, and PPE to ensure readiness
  • Uphold infection control practices and observe standard precautions at all times
  • Keep inventories accurate and ensure all stock is in-date and available
  • Document patient care objectively and completely
  • Participate in meetings, committees, and quality improvement activities
  • Contribute to procedure development and other projects as needed
