Job description

This is a permanent full-time position commencing Term 2, 2026

Note: This position is being advertised as part of a recruitment pilot designed to simplify the application process for teachers. A mandatory CV template is provided for use. The School

Coastal Lakes College (CLC) located in Lakelands, a south-western suburb of Perth in the City of Mandurah, opened in 2019 and caters for students across Year 7 to 12. The Role

You will ideally be student and relationship focused, innovative and motivated, with the ability to work collaboratively in team environments. Professional knowledge, understandings, and experience to develop and implement an engaging and relevant secondary school Mathematics curriculum will be well regarded.

Experience in teaching senior school Mathematics courses – both Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) and General, is desirable but not essential. As an expert practitioner you should possess a commitment to excellence in teaching and engage in regular self-reflection. Another key attribute is the ability to create environments conducive to learning and differentiate educational opportunities that are purposeful and relevant, catering to different student learning needs.

In this role, the successful applicant will ideally develop innovative classroom practices utilising the college’s cutting-edge IT Information Technology (IT) infrastructure and should exhibit an understanding of High Impact Teaching Strategies (HITS). In this environment you should provide integrated, personalised and authentic learning experiences for students.

The College has a strong Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) focus, working in a collaborative partnership with local primary schools, industry and tertiary education.
