Job description

We are seeking to establish a pool of Primary Teachers for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2026 school year and up to the end of Term 2, 2027. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.

The Role

Falcon PS educators use data and high-impact teaching strategies to progress student learning and achievement. Competitive applicants should display proven success using the explicit teaching model and be data-driven in the plan–teach–assess cycle. The learning environment you create should reflect a caring, engaging, challenging, and differentiated classroom that caters to our diverse student population.

Experience in implementing Talk for Writing, Spelling Mastery, Dynamic Indicators of Basic Early Literacy Skills (DIBELS), Engagement Norms, Daily Review, and effective Lesson Design would be highly regarded. Experience engaging in instructional coaching cycles and working collaboratively to refine practice and improve student outcomes is also highly valued.

We are actively seeking primary teachers with exceptional interpersonal skills, displaying a natural ability to communicate effectively and foster genuine relationships with parents, students, and colleagues. As a primary teacher, you will ideally establish a positive and inclusive classroom environment, set high expectations, cultivate a growth mindset, and support students' social and emotional development. Experience implementing Zones of Regulation would be advantageous.

Suitable applicants will ideally exhibit exemplary teaching skills, a strong motivation to excel, and a commitment to delivering best practice. The capacity to thrive in an environment characterised by whole-school connected practice, collaborative team structures, and a commitment to ongoing professional growth is highly valued.
