On behalf of our client in the Financial Services Sector, PROCOM is looking for a DevOps Developer.

DevOps Developer – Job Description

• DevOps expert who will be responsible for creating and managing the DevOps pipeline to become a part of quants engineering pod and help us to create automated CI CD pipelines and also add automation to enable self-service features on our platforms

• Modernize and automate release management, deployment processes and strategies

• Collaborate with engineering teams in the improvement of CI/CD practices

• Support and maintenance of infrastructure to include on-prem and cloud deployments

• Collaborate with development team to add-on self-service features to our platforms

• Identify KPIs and implement scaling and resilience strategies in support of SLA expectations

• Build a fully automated pipeline to build, Test & Deploy without manual intervention

• Add resilience and automated alert features in our pipelines and our prem clusters

DevOps Developer – Mandatory Skills

• Good knowledge of CI/CD automated tools like Jenkins, Team City, Jfrog Artifactory, UrbanCode Deploy, Ansible

• Experience with Issue tracking systems like JIRA

• Good working knowledge of source control technologies (Git, Bitbucket)

• Experience with containers and container orchestration tools (Docker (Podman), Kubernetes, OpenShift)

• Experience setting up high availability / fault tolerant systems.

• 2+ years Metrics & Tracing

• Options include (Dynatrace/ Appdynamics / OpenTelemetry/ OpenTracing/ CloudWatch/ XRay)

• Strong experience on Log analysis with ELK/ OpenSearch and Dynatrace

• Good communication and collaboration skills in English

• Open minded and willing to learn new tools/methodologies/concepts

• Strong Problem-solving skills

• Sense of ownership

DevOps Developer - Nice to Have Skills

• Knowledge of infrastructure and code tools such as Ansible/ Terraform

• Experience with openshift

• Experience with configuration management software

• Experience in Continuous Deployment (concourse/ GitHub Actions/ Spinnaker/ etc.)

• Experience in Infrastructure as code (Terraform, CDK or Cloud formation)

• Strong Linux admin skills

• Experience with Apache airflow, Dask, MLFlow

• Experience with RHEL
