Job description
We are a caring family in North Pickering (15-20 mins from North East Markham) seeking a compassionate and reliable part-time, live-out companion for our elderly loved one. The ideal candidate speaks Mandarin and/or Cantonese and has a genuine passion for supporting seniors through companionship and daily care. What You’ll Do: Provide friendly companionship and meaningful conversation Offer gentle reminders for hydration and light movement Prepare healthy Chinese meals for restrictive diet due to Stage 4 CKD Help create a calm, supportive daily routine What We’re Looking For: Experience in elder care or companionship roles Patient, kind, and dependable personality Strong communication skills (Mandarin or Cantonese required) Someone who truly enjoys spending time with seniors and making them feel heard, seen and valued.
