Underwriting Assistant

What is in it for you:
• Hourly salary of $20.
• 8-month contract.
• Full-time position: 37.50 hours per week.
• Week 1: 100% on-site training.
• Ongoing schedule: 3 in-office days per week.
• Fixed office days: Monday and Tuesday.
• Flexible office day: 1 additional day of your choice each week.
Responsibilities:
• Enter data into Guidewire and Legacy systems for new business, renewals, endorsements, and various policy changes under the direction of underwriters or the team lead.
• Provide administrative and clerical support to the underwriting team.
• Deliver maximum broker satisfaction when interacting with brokers regarding personal lines automobile and property accounts.
• Support the team in meeting production goals and targets.
• Transfer policies through the conversion process efficiently.
• Assist with other assigned duties.
