Job Title: Floral Clerk- Part-Time

Job Description:

If so, then this may be the perfect job opportunity for you! Our Cedar location is looking to welcome a new Part-Time Floral Clerk to our team! Our ideal candidate will bring their passion for delivering outstanding customer service and a “get the job done” attitude. This role will also include some cashier duties when things get slow. Some of what you will do:

• Create floral arrangements to display and sell
• Provide customers with information needed to make flower and indoor/outdoor plant related decisions
• Receive stock, face and rotate products
• Ensure bouquets are fresh and full
• Scan goods and ensure pricing is accurate
• Perform other duties as required

Education and Experience:

• One year experience working in a garden center or floral department is considered an asset
• Knowledge of both indoor and outdoor plant care is preferred
• Previous customer experience is required
• Previous cash handling experience is considered an asset
