Role Responsibilities
As a Project Coordinator within the Housing Division of Assisted Living and Social Services, you will report directly to the Capital Maintenance and Renewal (CMR) Program Manager and play a key role in supporting the administration and delivery of the Capital Maintenance and Renewal (CMR) Program. This position involves coordinating program activities, monitoring project, and funding information, supporting reporting processes, and helping ensure successful outcomes for housing providers and communities across the province.
Your responsibilities in this role will include, but will not be limited to:
• Project Planning and Initiation: You will support the planning phase of the CMR Program by reviewing project information, monitoring timelines and deliverables, coordinating stakeholder engagement activities, and supporting implementation planning
• Design, Construction, and Commissioning Oversight: You will participate in the review and monitoring of project activities to help ensure alignment with approved scope, budget, schedule, and program requirements, while coordinating input from various stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Contract and Financial Administration: You will support the Program Manager in contract management by reviewing and processing progress claims, assisting with financial controls, developing forecasting projections, and supporting comprehensive project and program reporting.
• Stakeholder Liaison and Communication: You will act as a primary point of contact, collaborating with and providing information to internal and external stakeholders to foster cooperation and ensure effective communication, including the development and dissemination of meeting minutes.
• Quality, Safety, and Compliance Assurance: You will support monitoring activities to help ensure project compliance with approved requirements, identify emerging risks or issues, coordinate information requests, and support resolution of deficiencies and corrective actions.
