Robert Half has partnered with a top firm in search of a QA Engineer for a 8+ month contract.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the Salesforce CRM QA process and identify opportunities to improve testing success criteria and confidence in the CRM platform.
- Responsible for organizing and delivering end to end testing including defect life cycle management within the CRM project.
- Responsible to analyze, develop, document and execute test cases and scripts from user stories.
- Training and coaching internal staff with necessary tools and best practices for determining success QA.
- Work closely with the business analyst to review the overall functional and non-functional requirements to ensure requirements traceability and collaborate with the project manager, consultants and project stakeholders.
- Build the testing strategies and timelines for the purpose of execution to meet the project schedule.
- Define the validation process, acceptance criteria, and reporting mechanism to assist with decision making.
- Outline the UAT support model and operational readiness conditions.
- Analyze user stories and requirements for accuracy to decompose into test cases.
- Develop and execute detailed test cases and scripts from user stories.
- Define and implement automated end to end test plans, regression testing including UI, back-end, Salesforce components & integrations including defect life cycle management such as test severity levels, logging pass/fail results and retesting to completion.
- 5+ years of relevant QA technical experience
- 5+ years experience with defining and implement automated end to end test plans, regression testing
- 1-3 years of experience in testing Salesforce or other CRM
- Experience with creating SOQL (Salesforce Object Query Language)
- Good understanding of SF architecture and concepts
- Good understanding of testing concepts and different types of testing such as system, integration, end-to-end, User Acceptance Testing etc.
- Experience with Agile methodologies
