Qualifications and Experience
:Grade 12 DiplomaCurrent provincial Certificate of Qualifications as a 313A Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Systems Mechanic.Minimum five years’ experience performing installations, maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems.Class “G” Ontario Driver’s License in good standing. A driving abstract will be required.Thorough and current knowledge of the standards, practices, regulations, methods, tools and equipment of the trade.Gas Technician 1 in good standingExperience using Building Automation Systems preferredSkills and Competencies:Strong interpersonal and oral communications skills.Physically capable of performing all duties of the trade.Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety Act and the following training: W.H.M.I.S., ARC flash, electrical safety, elevated work platforms, ladders, fall arrest, confined space, lock out/tag out, etc. The selection of the successful applicants(s) will be made in accordance with Article 12 of the C.U.P.E. 1571 collective agreement.
