We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to support invoice processing and administrative data tasks for a long-term contract opportunity in Toronto, Ontario. This position is well suited to someone who works accurately, communicates professionally, and is comfortable managing high volumes of information across digital systems. The successful candidate will help maintain organized records, enter customer and billing data, and provide dependable support through email and related office tools.
Responsibilities:
• Enter customer, billing, and invoice information into internal systems with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Review source documents carefully to verify data before submission and correct inconsistencies when needed.
• Process invoice-related entries, including coding and updating customer invoice records in a timely manner.
• Maintain organized electronic files and ensure information is easy to retrieve for reporting and follow-up.
• Communicate professionally through email to address routine inquiries and support day-to-day administrative coordination.
• Use Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word to prepare, update, and manage documents, lists, and tracking materials.
• Update and maintain records in HubSpot and other business platforms to keep information current and complete.
• Support customer service activities by responding to requests and ensuring data records reflect accurate account details.
• Demonstrated experience in data entry within a fast-paced office or administrative environment.
• Strong keyboarding ability, including proficiency with 10-key entry and accurate typing skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word for daily administrative tasks.
• Experience handling invoices, including entering, coding, and updating customer billing information.
• Ability to manage email correspondence professionally and follow through on routine requests.
• Familiarity with customer service practices and maintaining accurate client-related records.
• Experience using HubSpot or similar database and CRM systems is considered an asset.
