Project Coordinator / Inside Sales Construction Service Solutions
We are looking for an ambitious customer centric construction or engineering individual who wants to move into a solution sales role.
This role is salary for the first year and comes with full sales training and a supportive team. After the first year, it is Salary + commission and the sky is the limit for earning potential.
Our valued Client is based in Coquitlam, BC and delivers a full range of safe, reliable engineered forming, shoring, and scaffolding solutions, servicing the residential, commercial, civil and infrastructure markets.
If you have experience working with forming, shoring, and scaffolding equipment , you will hit the ground running.
Must Have :
- 3+ years of relevant experience ( construction, QS, Estimation or Engineering )
- Strong ability to read blueprints
- Ability to visualize forming and shoring schemes
- Microsoft Office (MS Word, Intermediate Excel, Outlook)
- Valid driver's license
- Must be able to travel
Nice to Have :
- Knowledge of forming and shoring equipment
- College diploma in relevant field
- Experience doing takeoffs / estimates
- Salesforce Experience
- ERP system experience
Responsibilities :
- Assists with material take offs
- Assist with creating and tracking quotations
- Maintains records of projects to properly manage job sites; generates other reports as required.
- Determine preliminary equipment availability.
- Consults with engineering and operations departments as required.
- Attend internal and customer meetings as required and record and prepare written minutes and action item logs
- Attend project kick off meetings and record minutes
- Maintain a professional appearance, demeanour, and attitude at all times.
