Food Service Supervisor

Overview

Under the direction of the Manager of Nutrition Services, the Food Service Supervisor 2 will assume responsibilities for nutrition service workers related to the preparation, serving and delivery of meals.

Duties

• plan the delivery of food to ensure safe, nutritious and adequate requirements are met while adhering to safe and sanitary procedures;
• supervise and provide support to all nutrition service workers and establish work procedures;
• recruit, train and evaluate service workers;
• trains dietetic interns;
• provide direction and guidance to staff re collective agreements;
• participate in menu planning meetings;
• participate in departmental quality improvement activities;
• schedule and participate in staff orientation and in-service education;
• attend meetings, workshops and conferences;
• organize and facilitate meetings for service workers;
• assist with departmental projects;
• other related duties.

Salary Range : $29.53 - $35.21 per hour

Bi-Weekly Hours : 30 Hours Bi-Weekly / Rotating Shifts / Every Second Weekend
