The schedule for this position is a four day on, four day off rotational schedule with the possibility of night shift availability required.
Duties :
- Perform sample, reagent and calibration preparation as directed.
- Calibrate, operate, maintain, troubleshoot and conduct routine maintenance on all assigned laboratory instruments.
- Compile, verify and validate accurate data records.
- Meet quality assurance and turnaround specifications.
- Follow all Quality Control and Standard Operating Procedures.
- Report results.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications :
Degree or diploma in Science or equivalent experience required.2+ years laboratory experience with required.Able to operate, troubleshoot and maintain analytical instruments.Knowledge of full laboratory processes.Strong attention to detail.Intermediate computer skills.Ability to work in a positive manner in a fast paced environment.Fluency in English, both verbal and written.Work Environment : This position requires a person to stand, sit and lift throughout the shift in a laboratory environment. Manual dexterity is required to perform repetitive tasks. PPE is required where applicable.
