About the Opportunity
Our Ottawa based client is looking for an Accounts Receivable Clerk to help guide the billing and collections of accounts and other miscellaneous duties.
This is a contract opportunity for 6 months and open to those located in the Ottawa, ON area.
Duties include but are not limited to :
- Follow up and ensure timely receipt of customer purchase orders to enable billing and payment
- by contracted due dates and terms
- Process monthly services billings and subscription billings per contracted terms
- Collection of accounts receivable and timely follow up on overdue accounts
- Process incoming cash receipts
- Assist with month end financial close procedures and quarterly audit reviews / year end audit
- Assist with regular and ad-hoc information requests and reporting
About You
The successful candidate will have the following :
- 2+ years relevant accounting experience
- Experience with an ERP accounting system, Netsuite an asset
- BSc degree or diploma in Finance or Accounting
- Strong client service and communication skills
About the Job
Hybrid work environment (3 days in office, 2 days remote) and flexible working hours.
