BCRS Road Safe is recruiting a Traffic Control Supervisor / Dispatcher to support daily field operations, personnel scheduling, client coordination, and compliance oversight across civil, paving, utility, and municipal projects. This position combines operational coordination with frontline field supervision and client interaction.

Key Responsibilities
- Schedule TCP personnel, equipment, vehicles, and AFAD / LCV deployment
- Respond to client requests, schedule changes, and urgent mobilizations
- Conduct site audits to verify MOTI / WorkSafeBC compliance & safety performance
- Coach and mentor field personnel to maintain professional standards
- Maintain dispatch logs, timesheets, and operational reporting
- Liaise with construction stakeholders to ensure service continuity
- Support H&S initiatives and incident documentation
Commercial & Sales-Oriented Duties (Field-First)
Communicate with clients on live sites to support service quality and expectationsIdentify project needs that support repeat business and ongoing service captureParticipate in mobilization discussions, scope changes, and schedule planningProvide field intelligence that informs quoting, TMP planning, and bidsQualifications
Valid TCP Certification with supervisory or dispatch experienceStrong communication, coordination, and situational judgment skillsUnderstanding of road construction, municipal, or civil environmentsFamiliarity with MOTI + WorkSafeBC regulatory frameworksAbility to work flexible hours, including evenings / weekends as neededExperience in training staff to improve skills and ensure compliance with safety standardsAssets : TMP / permit familiarity, OFA Level 2 / 3, COR / H&S experience, client-facing or service coordination background
