We arecurrently recruiting for Crew Chiefs (AME) to be based in one offour new operating bases in British Columbia (Vancouver KamloopsPrince Rupert and Prince George).
The AME Crew Chief is responsibleto the Chief Engineer for the completion of the maintenance andrepair tasks which are assigned tothem.
Inthis role youwill :
- Superviseand manage a crew of AME s andapprentices.
- Createtask cards and work orders as well as order parts and consumablesfor forecasted maintenance inWinAir.
- Monitorconsumable levels of base and order required items inWinAir.
- Maintainadjust modify test diagnose and repair an aircraft s mechanical orstructuralsystems.
- Workwith specialized aviation and power tools computers and diagnosticequipment.
- Conductscheduled maintenancetasks.
- Keeptimely and accurate records of the repair and maintenanceactivities that wereconducted.
- Carefullyobserve all procedures rules and regulations when performing anytask.
- Bethoroughly familiar with and put to use safety procedures and safeworkpractices.
- Usethe appropriate PPE fortasks / jobs.
- Maintaina clean and productive workarea.
- Conductaircraft cleaning duties of interior and exterior (excludingmedicalbiohazards) .
- Workefficiently alone and as part of ateam.
- Readunderstand and adhere to the Safety & Health PolicyStatement Company Occupational Health & Safety ManualCompany Policies and Procedures and theMPM.
- Utilizethe company reporting system to report any hazard incident oraccident.
- Enterlabour in the labour tracking system accurately for all tasksperformed.
- Performwork in accordance with all Transport Canada guidelines and theMPM.
- Otherduties asassigned.
Profil
Theideal candidatebrings :
Must hold avalid Transport Canada M1 and / or M2 AMElicense.
Have experienceworking on a rotarywing asset ideally on Leonardo HelicoptersAWFamily aircraft in particular theAW169.
Havedemonstrated experience working on WinAir or other similarmaintenanceprograms.
Have goodorganizationalskills.
Have experienceleading aCrew
Isproficient in English written andspoken.
Have thephysical ability to sit or crouch for extendedperiods.
Have thephysical ability to walk and / or stand for extendedperiods.
Have physicaldexterity to allow working in confinedspaces.
Theability and willingness to undertake shiftwork.
Iscomfortable working atheight.
Youare eligible for an Airport RestrictedArea Identity Card (RAIC)
Have the rightto work in Canada and / or have or can obtain a Canadianpassport.
Hold a validdriver slicense .
The ideal candidate brings : Must hold a valid Transport Canada M1and / or M2 AME license. Have experience working on a rotary-wingasset, ideally on Leonardo Helicopters AW-Family aircraft, inparticular, the AW169.
Have demonstrated experience working onWinAir or other similar maintenance programs. Have goodorganizational skills. Have experience leading a Crew Is proficientin English, written and spoken.
Have the physical ability to sit orcrouch for extended periods. Have the physical ability to walkand / or stand for extended periods.
Have physical dexterity to allowworking in confined spaces. The ability and willingness toundertake shift work. Is comfortable working at height.
You areeligible for an Airport Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC) Havethe right to work in Canada and / or have or can obtain a Canadianpassport.
Hold a valid driver s license.
