Make a real impact by volunteering on a City Board. As a member, you’ll take part in formal decision-making, help shape outcomes on important local matters, and contribute to fair and transparent processes that affect your community.
The City of Airdrie has a Subdivision and Development Appeal Board (SDAB) which is an independent quasi-judicial board made up of one Council representative and citizen members. The SDAB handles appeals of the decisions of the Municipal Planning Commission or of the approving authority regarding development permit or subdivision applications.
We are looking for 4 citizen members from the community to fill volunteer positions on our Subdivision and Development Appeal Board (SDAB).
Please be aware that this is a volunteer opportunity and is not considered an employment position with the City of Airdrie.
Appointment : Council appoints to the Board at Council’s annual Organizational Meeting.
