Our client is seeking 11 Junior Desk Side Support Technicians to join their onsite IT support team across hospital facilities in the Halifax Regional Municipality. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a high-priority healthcare initiative aimed at improving technology access and support across clinical environments. Working as part of the Cyber Security and Digital Solutions (CSDS) division, these technicians will play a key role in deploying and maintaining end-user computers, refreshing hardware, and providing hands-on technical support to healthcare staff. The ideal candidates are motivated, dependable, and customer-focused IT professionals who thrive in active, fast-paced environments. A typical day involves supporting users directly within healthcare facilities—installing and configuring devices, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring systems operate efficiently. Candidates must hold an IT diploma from a recognized institution, be comfortable working on their feet throughout the day, and meet all immunization and background check requirements for working in a hospital setting. This is an excellent opportunity for recent IT graduates or early-career technicians to gain valuable field experience in a critical healthcare environment while supporting one of Nova Scotia’s most impactful digital transformation projects.
