Reporting to the Office Manager, the Board Liaison providesadministrative support to the Board of Directors. This includes ensuring communication, information, scheduling,governance requirements, and deadlines are maintained.

A narrow selection of the larger scope and responsibilities for this position are as follows :
- Coordinate all Board and Committee meetings including scheduling, distributing meeting notices, preparing meeting packages, attending meetings, recording and distributing meeting minutes, and following up on action items as necessary.
- Organize and format meeting packages, request and ensure timely quarterly report submissions from senior leadership team, proofread, format, and finalize reports in collaboration with the CEO.
- Maintains documentation and electronic filing systems.
- Completes a variety of special projects including creating PowerPoint presentations, special reports, and agenda materials.
- Ability to work independently with minimal guidance and as part of a team.
- Availability to work occasional evenings for scheduled committee meetings.
- Other additional and / or alternative duties as assigned from time to time.
Qualifications
Education
A diploma or certification in business administration, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Experience
A minimum of two years of administrative support experience, preferably in a not-for-profit environment.Experience providing administrative support for committees, including minute taking is required.Experience supporting a board of directors is considered an asset.Requirements

Salary : $33.26 - $35.95 / hour ($34,590.40 - $37,388.00 Yearly)Work Location : 101 – 749 Pandora Ave.Work Days : Monday – Friday.Work Hours : Negotiated upon hire, within the hours of 8 : 30am and 4 : 30pm with occasional evenings as required for scheduled committee meetings.Weekly Hours : 20 hours.Union : Exempt.Benefits : Eligible for 100% employer paid benefits.Job Type : Part-time - Temporary. This position is expected to last for around 6 months, but may be extended.
