Job Overview
EBC Inc. leverages expertise to deliver major infrastructure projects including bridges, roads, highways, tunnels, marine installations, and hydro‑electric facilities. The Assistant Project Manager reports to the Project Manager and ensures safe, on‑schedule, contract‑compliant delivery of projects within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the PM in planning, scheduling, and monitoring project progress and reporting.
- Support PM in all operational functions and ensure compliance with local legislation and labor requirements.
- Implement company policies and procedures throughout project execution.
- Manage project budgets, cost forecasts, and risk mitigation plans.
- Prepare project cost status reports and identify risk opportunities.
- Coordinate subcontractor work execution and contract management.
- Prepare progress billings, collect outstanding payments, and conduct site safety inspections.
- Enforce the company’s Safety and Quality Assurance Programs.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or Civil Engineering Technology.Professional accreditation (P.Eng. / CET) or equivalent technical training.8+ years of progressively responsible construction experience including dams, power stations, bridges, and heavy civil projects.Experience with OPG or powerhouse projects is an asset.Strong communication, problem‑solving, initiative, and leadership skills.Proficiency in MS Office, MS Project, and Bluebeam.Excellent organization, multi‑tasking, time‑management, and attention to detail.Bilingual French / English is an asset.Willingness to work across multiple Ontario project sites.Benefits

Mid‑Senior level – Full‑time – Project Management – Construction – Greater Sudbury, Ontario, Canada. Salary range CA$70,000–CA$80,000.
