Gusto Resto Bar is a fine dining establishment with an upscale bar, dedicated to providing exceptional service and a memorable dining experience. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced head server to join our front-of-house team.
As the head server, you will be responsible for overseeing the dining experience, ensuring that our guests receive top-notch service while maintaining a positive and efficient atmosphere. You will train and mentor staff, manage table assignments, and ensure that all service standards are upheld.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead and motivate the serving team to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
- Train new servers on menu knowledge, service standards, and restaurant policies.
- Manage table assignments and reservations to optimize service flow.
- Maintain a strong knowledge of the menu, including food and drink pairings.
- Interact with guests to ensure satisfaction, address concerns, and build rapport.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order delivery.
- Handle cash and credit transactions, ensuring accuracy and security.
- Monitor the dining area for cleanliness and organization.
- Assist in scheduling staff and managing labor costs.
- Stocktaking and inventory management.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to menu development and service enhancements.
