Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Land Development Engineer / Project Manager for our Kingston / Ottawa offices. Preference is for the candidate to be based in Ottawa; however, remote work is available for suitable candidates in Kingston who cannot relocate. The successful candidate will lead the design process and oversee medium to large municipal infrastructure and land development projects in Eastern Ontario.

Your Daily Responsibilities

• Develop detailed engineering design solutions and support the design team on complex projects.
• Write, sign, and seal reports and drawings as required.
• Review project designs, specifications, and contract documents.
• Monitor project schedules and budgets, reporting on progress regularly.
• Coordinate with clients, municipal authorities, and contractors.
• Obtain necessary permits and approvals from municipal and provincial agencies.
• Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D extensively for design work.
• Support business development through proposal writing and client engagement.
• Manage internal project teams, including directing and reviewing work.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety policies on all sites.
