Lactation Consultant Breastfeeding Clinic

To provide quality patient care to postpartum women and new-born patients and to support the breastfeeding experience.

Qualifications :

• Current registration in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
• Current BCLS certification required at time of hire.
• Current IBCLC and breastfeeding support experience required.
• Current Neonatal Resuscitation Provider certification required at time of hire       and ongoing.
• Related courses in maternal / new-born nursing.
• Demonstrated ability to work with families.
• Must have good interpersonal skills and the ability to prioritize.
• Good team player.
• Must be able to meet the physical demands of the position.
• Satisfactory employment and attendance record required.

The ideal candidate is strong in patient centered care in a dynamic rapidly changing environment and should be ready to drive change and innovation. We require a person with good communication skills with a clear patient focus with the ability to manage execution and to foster teamwork and cooperation

Additional Information :

Hours :  Monday to Friday - Days; 0800-1600 (hours subject to change based on operational needs)

Salary : $41.78 to $58.02 per hour
