Marketing Coordinator

Salary: $20.00-$27.00 per hr

Job Summary

Fraser Valley Cataract and Laser is looking for its new star Marketing Coordinator! If you are passionate about making a difference and can take on challenges, then this job is for you. Working closely with all departments, the Marketing Coordinator will promote the services of FVCL and BC Lasik to the general public, patients, and referral partners. This position will also be responsible for the coordination, planning, and executing of two main events each year. Travel to all our locations (Abbotsford, Coquitlam, Surrey, and Chilliwack) is required. A valid driver's license in good standing is essential.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

The successful applicant should be able to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:

• Post-secondary education in business, communication, marketing, or related fields is an asset.
• Excellent written, interpersonal, and verbal communication skills.
• Proven experience with online marketing tools and technologies.
• Excellent knowledge of digital marketing platforms including Meta and Google.
• Social Media Management and other certifications are an asset.
• Experience working with CRMs and email marketing platforms is an asset.
• Proficiency in using software like Adobe Illustrator and Canva.
• Experience in video editing and photography, including basic video/photo editing software, is preferred.
• Team-oriented with the ability to work independently.
• Effective time-management skills and the ability to prioritize conflicting priorities.

Key Responsibilities

As the Marketing Coordinator, you will be responsible for a wide-breadth of critical marketing initiatives, including:

• Responsibility for the strategy, development, implementation, and management of marketing, public relations, media relations, and internal/external communications for all locations of Fraser Valley Cataract and Laser (currently Abbotsford, Coquitlam, Surrey, and Chilliwack).
• Direct and coordinate the message content, consistency of image, and timing of FVCL communications to inform upper management/ownership, the community-at-large, physicians, referral partners, and employees about FVCLs initiatives and programs to encourage referrals and surgeries.
• Event planning, including but not limited to CE(Continuous Education) events, open houses, and recognition events.
• Social media management, including conceptualization, creation, and scheduling on social media channels, and working closely with PPC to optimize Google and Meta ads.
• Create written, photo, and video content for digital marketing channels and print marketing collateral. Write and manage blog posts for FVCL and BC Lasik websites.
• CRM management and reports includes entering information into the CRM, managing the CRM, and creating custom reports to evaluate ROI.
• Monitor reviews on third-party sites such as Google Business Profile and Yelp, manage the FVCL and BC Lasik websites for SEO optimization and information, and run email marketing campaigns as needed.
• Generate monthly, quarterly, and yearly reports for KPIs and ROIs, and generate a yearly SWOT Report.
• Other ad hoc duties and special projects, as required.
