Our Ideal Candidate

The candidate will provide estimation services to Allnorth / Dynamysk's Automation’s Field Services division out of Sherwood Park, Alberta. The individual will be a self-starter and be able to take initiative with minimal supervision and produce detailed proposals in an efficient manner. The individual will be goal oriented individual that is looking to grow in their electrical career.

A Day in the Life

Responsibilities include :

Prepare electrical and instrumentation estimates for projects in the oil and gas industry
Collaborates with estimation and project team to identify issues pre and post tender
Communicates with clients during tender process to fully understand estimate scope.
Communicates with third party subcontractors that may be needed for estimate scope
Prepares information and participates in bid review as well as post project cost review
Participates in site walk downs to better understand scope of work.

What You’ll Bring to the Team

An Electrician with a minimum of 5 years of field experience in the industrial sector

Estimation experience is an asset

Post-secondary education in a related discipline is an asset

Intermediate Microsoft Office skills including Excel, Word and Outlook

Ability to understand and interpret different types of drawing packages in the industrial and commercial sectors

Good time-management skills and able to prioritize multiple tasks quickly

Strong attention to detail

Thrives in a fast paced environment

Able to work individually as well together with the estimation team to prepare bids

Good organization and communication skills

Willing to take on large task loads and prioritize and execute efficiently
