Base Salary : 100K-120K

Our Client is a well-established CPG company – Food / Beverage / cosmetics etc. and have a job open for Transportation Planning Manager – Routing, Lane, Loads Optimization – to optimize company owned asset – trucks, trailers, its employee drivers and improve overall customer experience. The role is based in Mississauga- Brampton, ON area 5 days a week on site. This is a day shift but will require ability to be on call, off duty hours.

Transportation Planning Manager – Routing, Lane, Loads Optimization – Food will be fully responsible for load planning, routing for local GTA – Ontario and other provinces and manage a national portfolio for long hauls and local city dispatch in a very high-volume dispatch environment.You will work closely with drivers, manage performance, coach on company policy and procedures . You will analyze existing KPIs and score cards, optimize internal company owned fleet and 3rd party carriers for the city and long-haul trucks and trailers .

Transportation Planning Manager – Routing, Lane, Loads Optimization – Food will have minimum 8-10 years in routing using TMS, Road Links and other similar software for local city dispatch and long hauls. Bachelor’s degree highly preferred, courses in P. Log, CITT, CCLP or similar with excellent English communication skills. Knowledge of local geography is highly critical; knowledge of penalties by big box retailers (Walmart, Sobeys, Metro ) and similar and experience in creating custom made delivery solutions. This is a very fast paced environment. GMP HACCP and Health Canada compliance experience, transportation spends, budgets, RFP RFQ experience all help. This is a day shift with the ability to be on-call, off shift.
