We are seeking a Level 2 Insurance Advisory professional to join our dynamic team in based out of our Yaletown location. As an Insurance Broker, Service, you will play a crucial role in providing personalized and comprehensive insurance solutions to our valued clients, ensuring their peace of mind and financial protection.

Key Accountabilities :

KA1 Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by understanding their insurance needs and providing exceptional customer service. You will be working with our high-performing team supporting our top-end brokers.

KA2 Conduct thorough assessments of client's insurance requirements, analyze their existing coverage, and recommend appropriate insurance solutions to address their unique needs

KA3 Handle policy endorsements, renewals, and policy adjustments promptly and accurately, ensuring compliance with insurance regulations and company guidelines.

KA4 Assist clients in the claims process, acting as a reliable point of contact and guiding them through the necessary steps to ensure a seamless claims experience.

KA5 Stay up-to-date with the latest insurance products, industry trends, and regulatory changes to effectively educate and advise clients on available coverage options.

KA6 Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell additional insurance products that align with the client's needs, increasing customer satisfaction and company revenue.

KA7 Maintain accurate and organized client files, ensuring all interactions and transactions are properly documented in compliance with company policies and procedures.

KA8 Collaborate with a team of insurance professionals, sharing knowledge, providing support, and contributing to a positive and inclusive work environment.

Qualifications and Competencies :

  • Post-secondary education and / or equivalent on the job experience
  • 2+ years’ experience in the insurance industry, in personal and / or commercial lines insurance
  • Must have either your General Insurance License Level 2 (or higher) in British Columbia or Alberta and be willing to obtain a license for whichever province your current license not already held.
  • Strong understanding of insurance products, regulations and best practices.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with a genuine passion for helping others and providing personalized insurance solutions tailored to our clients.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Detail-oriented and adept at managing multiple tasks simultaneously, ensuring accuracy and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • A collaborative mindset, working effectively within a team to achieve shared goals while fostering a positive and supportive work culture.
  • Proficiency with computer applications including EPIC (Broker Management System).
  • able to work hybrid if required
