MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage the various components of the IT infrastructure, which is primarily on-premise (physical and virtual servers), with some cloud services (e.g. Office 365)Regularly check the status of the communications network and take appropriate measures to resolve any issuesProvide employees and clients accessing our network with the necessary support to navigate or perform their work effectivelyImplement new IT modules to keep the company at the forefront of technologyPlan and regularly deliver training on new IT modules to new users as well as current usersManage the company’s various communication tools (IP phone system, mobile devices, voicemails, automated messaging, etc.)Perform any other related tasks as requestedPROFILE REQUIRED
DEC in Computer Science or Computer ManagementMinimum of seven (7) years of experience in IT, including five (5) years as a System AdministratorTechnical knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, GPO, Windows security, server virtualization, high availability, and VMware technologies (vSphere / vSAN)Technical knowledge and skills with Microsoft WSUS, IIS, Microsoft SQL Server, Office 365, IntuneTechnical knowledge and skills with Veeam Backup, proactive management of monitoring toolsNetwork administration knowledge including TCP / IP stack, network segmentation and security, traffic analysis, switch management, router / firewall managementAbility to provide second-level user support as neededKnowledge of IP telephony, Avaya IP OfficeStrong proficiency with Microsoft Office SuiteProblem-solving approach and resourcefulnessVersatility and leadership to make appropriate decisions quicklyBilingual in French (Basic knowledge of English is required to communicate verbally and in writing with some English-speaking suppliers, which happens occasionally a few times a month)Excellent analytical skills and strong communication abilitiesSkills in team facilitation, training, and coachingValid driver’s licenseSCHEDULE
