Shift: Monday to Friday: 4:00pm - 9:00pm (25 hours/week) Pay Rate: $23.90/hour ($27.16 after 3 months) Location: 121 Thirtieth St, Etobicoke, ON M8W 3C1 Description The Jambuster clears jams or blockages on automated conveyors / sortation systems by following established procedures and maintains a clean work area. Responsibilities Performing retrieval of all packages from automation sortation system and other conveyor systems as needed, by following all jam clearing procedures which includes LOTO. Provide written reports of safety, operational, and maintenance activities that need to be improved General cleanup of work areas Additional Responsibilities All other duties as assigned Experience Proven Mechanical knowledge, experience in material handling equipment an asset. Adhere to all safety regulations and safe work practices Exemplifies and consistently demonstrates our core competencies of communication, and relationship building Must pass written test and all trainings and practical test to be considered Excellent written and oral communications skills Be responsible and reliable Physical requirements include but are not limited to lifting 70 lbs Have good physical condition; bending, reaching, climbing, walking, crawling, standing, sitting, climbing stairs, speaking, sight, and/or hearing to complete the job duties. Ease of working at heights and able to pass the aerial work platform test.
