AVENScurrently has an exciting opportunity for an experienced energetic and selfmotivated administrative professional! The Executive Assistant reports directlyto the President and CEO and is tasked with supporting the President and CEO Boardof Directors and AVENS senior management team to achieve AVENS mission andstrategic objectives on an ongoing basis.

Education and Experience Requirements

Training in OfficeAdministration / Office Management

Three (3) or moreyears of executive administrative experience

Experience providingadministrative services to a Board of Directors is an asset

Experience inrecording meeting minutes is an asset

Excellent Englishspoken and written communication skills

Proficiency in allMicrosoft Office applications (Word Outlook Excel Powerpoint)

Strong attention todetail and interpersonal skills are essential

Project Managementskills such as Annual Report Annual General Meeting planning are an asset

Website managementskills are an asset

Successful applicants must be able to obtain and maintain a satisfactoryVulnerable Sector criminal record check.

Pay and Benefits

SALARY : $69693 to $78156 annually plus anannual northern travel allowance of $2500

PENSION PLAN : 8% employermatched defined contribution pension plan

SICK LEAVE : 3 paid weeks per fiscalyear

This is an excluded position which follows a Mondayto Friday schedule. However the incumbent is required to be available to worknon-standard hours from time to time to attend board meetings and other functionsas necessary.
